Four years ago, Wendy became the first Alpine School Board candidate to maintain a website, blog and FaceBook page. It was an attempt to reset our expectations of what we should expect/demand from those seeking our vote, transparency and communication.
Informed and involved citizens make the system work correctly. That is why Wendy maintains this video page so you can learn more before casting your vote.
Unfortunately, Wendy's opponent chose to not attend the only debate scheduled between only her and Wendy. We are editing down the previous debates so you can get a better sense of what each candidate stands for. Wendy will always stand for parents and teachers working together for the best educational outcome of students. She will always recognize your right to be informed and involved. Wendy will always be willing to face the public and stand by her principles.

Will of the Board?
When board members disagree with the majority opinion of the board, should they remain quiet to protect board unity? Or, do they have the obligation to be open and honest so the public can know all opinions were represented and be able to hold their elected officials accountable?
